I've had it with all this pretentious art that tries to be so clever and mysterious. Seriously, what's the deal with those abstract paintings that look like a toddler's finger-painting gone wrong? And don't even get me started on those installations that make no sense at all! I want art that speaks to me, that I can understand without a PhD in art history. Give me some beautiful landscapes, some realistic portraits, or even some cute animals. Art should be for everyone, not just for the elite few who pretend to "get it."
