Human it up!

"Oh My God! She's a Feminist! She talks about women's rights and all. We need to be careful about what we speak when we are around her." Well, firstly LOL. Like seriously. A big LOL. Like why do you have to be afraid if you are talking soulful stuff and not some sexist shit. Yes, I am a "Feminist." I love men too. I absolutely adore them. I feel bad if some kind of injustice is meted out to them, like how they are encouraged to suppress their emotions. Maybe which is why the Researches seem true that more number of men suffer from Heart Attacks. Suppressing emotions is not healthy. There's something known as Psychosomatic connection where the 99% of any kind of ailments we have, is because of the thoughts and emotions that we haven't resolved. Because the purpose of any suffering is to make us into a better person. When we go deep within and comfort ourselves, the way we wanted to be comforted, the results are outstanding. That's how we heal, that's how we grow. You can google it too. So like I said, I am a Feminist and I am so damn proud to be one. It's not how it's perceived to be. It's about standing up for equality. It's about standing up for myself as a woman. It's about standing up for women around me. It's about standing up for people around me. It's also about standing up for men, who are subjected to atrocities. Because suffering is suffering. We cannot put it into a box. FYI Standing up for myself includes me voicing out when I hear phrases like: Oh! You're a girl! You must behave yourself because you are a girl. Oh physical abuse happened to you, you must have asked for it. What did you wear then? Oh your worth lies in your vagina, we will call you a Slut, at the same time we will call a guy a "STUD" if he is maintaining many girl friends. I have a very big problem when women are not treated as equals. I have a BIG problem with discrimination. Being equal is not about being same. It's about understanding the differences and respecting them because it's the differences which compliment everything. That's how balance happens. Why only label a Prostitute? Why are " MEN" in this context are allowed to get away because of their hormones? Why are men not taught how to behave with women, starting from their homes? Why is a Woman who is working and married, is only expected to take care of the child? Why is a man exempted from taking care of the child? Nourishment from both Mom and Dad to the child are equally important. Why should only a Woman, work her ass off, come home and then expected to do all household chores, why isn't a man expected to share the responsibilities at home especially when both are working? Why only expect everything out of a woman to be within the lines? I am not saying that men are not taking care of the children, they are. I have wonderful Fathers around me, including my own whom I love tremendously. HOW IN THE WORLD DOES STANDING UP FOR MYSELF IS FEMI-NAZI AND MAN HATING?! HOW IN THE WORLD WILL I BE OKAY, IF I AM NOT RESPECTED? As much as these things are wrong, objectifying men because they are shirtless is absolutely and equally wrong like how women are objectified so horribly in the item songs. Taking men who have been sexually harassed lite, that's wrong. Not comforting young boys when they are hurt and crying, to TOUGHEN them, that's absolutely wrong. Little boys need as much love and comforting as girls do. Now there's a difference between indulging and loving. Asking them to man up, when they express their grief, that's wrong. How will men know how to be compassionate if they are not allowed to feel? Letting a girl get away for traffic offense or any other offense, and getting hold of a boy, for the same, THAT'S EQUALLY WRONG. I have a big problem when rules are different for both MEN & WOMEN. Why belittle men when they are sad and grieving? That's horrible guys, STOP IT! In fact it's brave and wise to attain balance in both our Masculine and Feminine aspects, that's how we grow. Balance is the key.
Coming back to me, I AM A HAPPY FEMINIST WHO LIKES THE SONGS "BOYS" AND "HIPS DON'T LIE". WHO ALSO LIKES TO SHARE HER PIECE OF MIND IF HER BOUNDARIES ARE INVADED.
FOR ME FEMINISM IS ABOUT EQUALITY AND ONE OF MY CALLINGS IS TO BREAK GENDER STEREOTYPES. FEMINIST AND PROUD. I WILL VERY WELL BE A CHANGE I WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD♥
