Jubin Nautiyal began his career in 2011 when he participated in the singing reality show X-factor. Which didn't go well as apart from Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sonu Nigam didn't think Jubin had the talent to be a singer. Jubin didn't give up and pursued his career.

Matter of fact, after he had completed his schooling, Jubin moved to Mumbai in 2007 and joined the Mithibai college and continued to train in music. During this time he met A. R. Raman appreciated the quality of his voice and suggested he work on his voice for a few years more before he enters the Indian music industry.

And, finally he made his debut with the song "Ek Mulakat" in the movie Sonali Cable which also became his first hit song. Since then there's no turning back for the singer. In 2021, his track "Lut Gaye" featuring Imran Hashmi got more than 650 million views on YouTube.
